So we are at the end of week one! To be fair, week one is never that bad. I suspect week 3 is when it will get interesting.
Spending this week:
$1.30 Coffee (For a brownie recipe; not drinking)
$4.56 Foil!!???!!! Yep. I am normally a super planner, but I forgot I ran out of foil and we had to visit the Walgreens for a roll. It wasn’t even the heavy foil!
$22.85 Gas Raquel

$73.26 Monthly Target Trip (Under budget by $26!)
$13.87 Groceries (turkey bacon, sour cream, slow cooker liners)
Total Week 1: $143.84
No out meal this week! We are allowed one out meal per week, but I didn’t feel the need to use it! Maybe we will save it for another week.
I am very happy with our total! No unapproved purchases! Under budget at Target (That never happens)! Next week is my grocery shopping week and even though groceries and toiletries are allowed, I want to challenge myself to spend as little as possible. Our budget is high…I don’t know if I want to reveal it for fear of backlash, but we do most of our shopping at Whole Foods. We try to eat organically as possible and I also shop for 2 weeks at a time and we are not eating out. It is high, but my goal is to cut it by maybe half??? I have quite a few freezer meals that I am going to use over the next few weeks and I stocked up on meat last week at Costco so it should be less. We will see!
Things I wanted to buy:
This was technically before the month of no (Sat 1/31), but I was tempted to purchase a set of Fiestaware from Khols that was on sale for $29. But instead, I just chose to wait on next month’s sale. I just got an email that I have $5 in rewards credits that expires in March. So maybe…we will see.
Things I will definitely buy when this is over:
Shredder- I had one, it died 🙁
